Meet Arun jangam
Covid19 warrior

More than 1200 covid patients died in Pune today.  Due to this, the question arises to Pune Municipal Corporation was how to perform cremation on a patient who died due to covid 19?  And who wants to do it?
At that time , a face came forward , it was Arun Jangam .  And then Jangam was given this responsibility orally.
we discussed  about to burning of these bodies, can you do?  So I said yes without thinking.  He said, "We need a team of 4-5 people. I said no problem, I will see."  Then we started working together with 4-5 people. We used to do cremation on 10-15 bodies every day.
Initially , he was very opposed from family .  Nobody liked this job . It was natural but they kept working .  He was working on his own . This situation of his father was noticed by his children . Then the boy who was the interior designer and the girl who had just passed the 12th exam also started helping him .  They started to bring kits from the corporation , deliver them to the cremation ground at the right time and instruct the helpers .

At first I was scared but then I said working outside is better than seating at home and hit by corona now our country needs ours.said by Abhishek jangam son of arun ganjam.
At first I was very scared but then Papa said nothing happened. Then I didn't feel any fear.  We kept working . said by Sakshi jangam daughter of Arun jangam
In any covid hospital , death of patients occurs phone call starts to jangam .  Such calls continue day and night .  All the movable family that is working . This work cannot be counted on money . His health is affected due to not getting food on time and not getting enough sleep . But this man is still working like a machine . The Pune Municipal Corporation has promised to pay  12,000 as minimum wage.
