Why doctor called as God ? CW02

Dr. Zahid Abdul Majeed,
Senior residential doctor,
AIIMS , New Delhi

The purpose he acquired contaminated with the aid of COVID-19 is, he eliminated his PPE package to put a ventilator on an extraordinarily essential COVID-19 affected person to stop a cardiac arrest. Dr. Zahid had to do away with his PPE (goggles and face-shield) to re-intubate the affected person on the way to the hospital’s trauma core in an ambulance.

When the switch was once happening, he realized that the patient’s tube used to be mal-positioned and that besides on the spot intervention, the affected person would go into cardiac arrest. In a dim-lit ambulance, working with PPE wasn’t a possible alternative for him so he rapidly removed the face-shield and goggles to operate the procedure. He at once suggested the breach in PPE and officers recommended him to proceed to quarantine.

He stated that he solely reacted in that state of affairs the way he has considered his instructors and seniors go greater miles for the patient.

"I used to be concerned about what my father would say however his response has stuffed my heart with pleasure and I sense so lots superior now,'' the doctor added.

After getting the news, his father from Kashmir informed him over the phone, "Zahid if you succumb to Corona, we will no longer mourn you. Samjhoonga ki Mera beta ek mareez ki Jaan bachaate hue shaheed ho Gaya (If you will die from COVID-19, I would now not grieve as my son has saved the existence of a affected person and died as a martyr)".

Zahid spoke back "Abba aaj mere mann se aapne ek bojh utaar Diiya (Dad, you lifted the weight from my heart. )".

Let's salute their experience of humanity.

let's share such story full of humanity and love.
Dr. Zahid Majeed is out of the threat now. He has resumed his responsibilities as well.
